Idaho Natural Law Party

The Idaho Natural Law Party has 3 candidates for state and federal office this year, so it will continue to be qualified for 2006 and 2008. Although the Natural Law Party nationally has disbanded, the Idaho unit has allied itself with a new party (organized only in Idaho) called the United Party. The United Party webpage is www.unitedparty.net. The party was founded by Andy Hedden-Nicely, who once owned the Boise Weekly newspaper.

  1. THIS YEAR’S CIRCULAR FIRING SQUAD AWARD!

If the Natural Law Party wants to transisition into more of an educational ventue, that is their right and privilege. However, they amoung all modern minor/ micro parties know of the manufacted barriers to ballot access thrown up by the freighted corrupt duopoly!

Teddy Roosevelt and his Bull Moose Progressive vice presidential running mate, California Direct Democracy Governor Hiram Johnson (1912), John B. Anderson (National Unity Party 1980) and Boss Ross Perot I (1992) garnered all fifty states with a sitting executive.

If Defacto Chief Executive Dick Cheney keeps at least one promise and does not run in 2008, a high profile anti occupation candidate could win the open 2008 White House.

I do not recommend ‘fusion’ (as with the rural Populists and the National Democratic Party in 1892). Affiliation, like California’s American Independence Party with the National Constitution Party, is a more flexible and doable plan. Right now millions of minor party registrations are just going to waste.

A revolution from the messy middle is still possible from Centrists with a high profile candidate or two! But millions of registrations need to be voluntarily set in line with the challenge.
