Senator Meeks To Launch New Party in Illinois

On May 12, State Senator James Meeks of Illinois announced that he will unveil a slate of statewide candidates (presumably, under the party label “Honesty and Integrity”) on May 20. He didn’t say if he will be the gubernatorial candidate of his new party, but it is likely.

    use Teddy Roosevelt, Moose, Teddy Bear, and 1912 vice presidential ticket mate, California Direct Democracy gura and Governor (and later United States Senator) Hiram W. Johnson as mentors/ personality mascots/ character icons!

    * 1992 ‘affiliation’ like the California affiliate of the Constitution Party (American Independent Party) not necessarily like the 1892 ‘fusion’ of the Perot style populist movement into the ‘black hole’ of the Democratic Party…………..
