Two Minor Party Congressional Candidates Get Newspaper Endorsements — 4 Comments

  1. The Detroit News endorsed the Libertarian candidate because the Republicans nominated a hardline Christian, and Eric Eidsness quit the Republican Party in protest over hardline Christian domination.

These are two more signs that a new coalition that is conservative on economic issues and liberal on social issues is just starting to take root.

  2. Also, the student newspaper at the University of Texas (~50,000 students, ~10-12,000 staff) endorsed Badnarik in the TX-10 CD.

  3. Eric Eidsness (Reform Party) for Colorado’s CD-4 was also endorsed by the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the largest paid daily newspaper in CD-4.
