Federal Court Tells Connecticut that Voters at Polls May Wear WWE Wrestling-Related Clothing to Polls

On October 27, a U.S. District Court in Connecticut ruled that the state’s anti-electioneering law does not permit election officials to tell voters that they cannot wear clothing to the polls that refers to the World Wrestling Entertainment organization.  See this story.  Thanks to Rick Hasen for the link.

  1. The 2010 midterm elections will be here, and most expect Republicans in making big gains in the two chambers of Congress. While prevailing opinion holds that this GOP will take with the House of Representatives, there are a few dissenters among national politicians. The Senate outlook is extremely messy, but it is usually accepted that Republicans experience a steeper climb taking back the upper chamber.
