  1. Party Seats = Party Votes x Total Seats / Total Votes

    Minor inexact.

    OR

Party Voting Power = Party Votes

    Exact.

Much too difficult for the armies of New Age MORON lawyers, courts and special interest gangs.

  2. Roseanne Barr wins Calif Governor! Peace & Freedom Party Wins! That would be hoot for Proportional Representation. What would Calif Dems think of that?

  3. The Mathews comments are spot on. Both major parties should be exposed as actual minority parties as all partisan efforts are. Coalitions outside the winner take all dynamic are more legitemate.

This kind of political reform conversation must become aware of what it takes to survive and avoid being thrown under the bus as the next electoral cycle advances. That part is really really hard, that is movements for political reform, real representation, proportional representation get no support from careerists and those more adept thriving in a far less than ideal body politic.

    Thanx Mr Mathews.
