Morton Kondracke calling himself a “moderate” without gagging, and suggesting that somewhere between the current day Republican and Democratic parties is “centrist” territory reminds me of the old saw that “so many people have been described as being to the right of Atilla the Hun that Atilla must have been a liberal.”
