Waynesboro, Virginia Newspaper Editorial Suggests Eliminating Party Primaries — 3 Comments

  1. Since Virginia, like Louisiana, holds most of its elections in the odd year, they could hold the election in September or October, with a runoff if necessary in November.

  2. Here we go again. TOP TWO, which means 3rd parties and Independents get lost in all the shuffle.

Richard may have the stats on such, but there has,in my opinion, more suits over ballot access than any other issue. The Courts are no doubt getting tired of turning down such requests, and having to re-write old decision so they don’t appear to be carbon copies of what they ruled in previous rulings.

Don’t let anyone fool you. These members of the Courts read the minds of the Legislatures, and they know the Legislators hate the 3rd party and Independent bill they have to take up time with. So the new solution is TOP TWO. This, for once and for all, will end the annoying pleas of the 3rd parties and the Independents for ballot equality. Hitler had his final solution for the Jews. Major party leaders have found their final solution for the annoying 3rd parties and Independents.
