Former Congressman Vin Weber Appears on CNN to Advocate for Presidential Debate Reform — 6 Comments

  1. It would be interesting if Vin Weber could be asked to substantiate his ridiculous claim that the “base” of the Democratic party is “increasingly to the left.”

  2. Vin Weber was in Congress 1980-1992. The ballot access bill was introduced in 1985, 1987, and 1989 (plus it was introduced six times after that, but by then Weber was gone from Congress).

Weber didn’t co-sponsor the bill when he was in congress. Almost all of the co-sponsors were Democrats.
