Commission on Presidential Debates Puts Up Public Comments Invitation — 6 Comments

  1. I have sent my comments to the CPD urging opening up the debates to parties/candidates “on the ballot” in either one-half the states or in enough states collectively having at least one half the total electoral votes.
I hope that all readers of BAN will do similar.
It would be fantastic to see the number of comments to this posting mounting up showing a large number of urgings to the CPD growing.

  2. I see that the CPD form requires the commenter to fill in address, phone, and email. Will they be made public along with the comments?

  3. In 2012 Gary Johnson made such a big deal about being in the Republican debates that he tried to springboard into the Libertarian Party on that PR. But when he landed there in the LP did you ever hear anything about allowing more voices or equal time for the 17+ Libertarian Party POTUS candidates one who I was one, who were thrown under the bus in day one when the names were made known?

This sort of same hypocritical position permeates in this debate about the CDP in most camps like Ballot Access News, the Greens and other establishment third parties.

It’s not intentional. In fact all the google search traffic goes to the two major parties along with press and decisions not because there is an intended harm.

That’s why the USA and International Parliaments have been so successful in attracting and identifying team players and in working with literally scores and scores of candidates, including hundreds of POTUS candidates since 1995 when we elected a team of 100 POTUS candidates; because we’re for everyone, not trying to slim choices between the Bush/Clinton/Stein/Johnsons.

No. We work with team players, that allows to to add more and more, and for us it’s not about one or two or three of four names running for POTUS.

We’re trying to expand to 10,000 names, and one national committee, where #1 is President and #2 is Vice President, but everyone on our team wins so it doesn’t behoove us to try to support a single-winner egotist like those who thrive under single-winner elections.

  4. Natural Born Citizen Party has given legal notice to the CPD USCA-DCC and the FEC regarding its monthly NBCP vetted candidate debate series. Unless and until the federal and state constitutional CINC-POTUS eligibility issue is resolved retroactively and going forward there is no constituted military or civilian government of the Republic of the United States.

  5. Invite only natural born citizens, as required by our Constitution.
Born on US soil to US citizen parents (plural).

  6. I can’t think what I’m supPOsed to say – so support anyone who makes themselves candidates for POTUS – or any office. And get Peace and Freedom Party able to put candidates on the ballot – means reasonable numbers of signatures/amts of dollars.
