Ralph Nader Endorses National Popular Vote Plan

Ralph Nader has this opinion piece soundly recommending the National Popular Vote Plan for presidential elections.

The only National Popular Vote Plan bill that has made any headway this year is Oregon’s HB 3475. It passed the House on May 18 and has been in the Senate Rules Committee since May 21.

  1. Abolish the time bomb Electoral College —
    remember the 750,000 DEAD on both sides in 1861-1865 due to the 1860 Prez minority rule election.

Mr. Nader could very well be wrong with his comments regarding “voter suppresssion!” Democrats and Republicans will doubtless both be encouraged to “suppress” voters for third party and independent candidates through continued and worse measures to restrict ballot access to solely Democratic and Republican candidates.
