  1. Impressive indeed. Internal party democracy really at work, unlike the D’s and R’s. LP the real wild card this election year; and for the first time, I am feeling some optimism. A third party, the Libertarians, may at last be getting ready to pry open the duopoly’s jaws.

  2. I look forward to voting for Libertarians Gary Johnson and William Weld in November.

  3. I look forward to seeing both him and Jill Stein rip the Democrat/Republican Establishment a new one this year. A repeat of the 1912 Presidential election might even happen.

  4. Nope. I understand he is an LP candidate for sheriff in Livingston County, Michigan.

  5. I think Gary Johnson needs better political handlers. I watched an interview he did today and he couldn’t seem to get beyond saying that he’s fiscally conservative and socially tolerant. I gather that. I think in the twenty-first century most voters have figured that out already. He needs to start coming up with new things to say or new ways of making his point. I suppose something could have happened with the interview I watched like he could have been tricked into expecting questions about different topics than the ones he was asked about. But he needs to be ready for that. People are going to get bored with him the way things are going now. I’m a Green. I watched him wipe the floor with Jill Stein in a debate in 2012. I won’t vote for him. I belong to a civil servant’s union. And I like having a job. But he could get a lot of votes from people not in my position. He just needs to sharpen his attack.

  6. The Donkeys/Elephants have BANKRUPTED the USA/STATES/LOCAL regimes by the accumulated govt debts since 1929 — now about a mere $$$ 30 TRILLION – NOT counting unfunded future liabilities.

USELESS so-called main stream media MORONS hyping both Hillary and Trump.

ALL economic Hell is about to happen with the commie Hillary / fascist Trump mouths/brains.

It is economic W-A-R between the statist LOOTERS (NET tax getters) versus the tax SLAVES (NET tax payers)

    — about 30-35 percent of all voters are statist LOOTERS

    — getting ALL of their income from statist regimes — govt officers, employees, contractors, debtors (govt interest) and esp. welfare gangs — domestic and foreign.

NOTHING new in world history — the LOOTERS keep on trying to get more and more taxes put into THEIR pockets / checking accounts —
    — until things happen. See 1773-1776.

  7. He out debated Stein? Really? I guess I must have missed that!

  8. I will vote for Jill Stein. But not with enthusiasm. She doesn’t make a convincing case that the Green platform is economically viable. If I was running for president as a Green I would start by saying that in the world we live in there are not enough essential jobs to go around. Why don’t we just shift our monetary assets around enough so that everyone can afford a dignified standard of living even if they’re not hard working? Why not? Will it work? Maybe. Why don’t we give it a try? And while we’re at it why not encourage each other to engage in environment-friendly occupations and maybe try to avert the impending climate holocaust? I mean start with that. I don’t think she’s ever tried to express it in simple terms. Most people won’t go for it. But some people will. She’s way too cerebral about everything. She also needs to stop trying to win over Bernie Sanders supporters. They’re gone. They’re Dems. If they do come back to the Greens they’ll do it when they’re ready.

  9. What percentage of ALL LP members actually nominated Johnson ???

i.e. Which party has the smallest percentage of OLIGARCHS running each party ???
