Odd that the CP isn’t running a gubernatorial candidate. How do they qualify/maintain qualification of their party there in the Show Me state?
2% for President keeps a party on the ballot for four years.
Jeff, I believe any statewide race over the threshold maintains ballot access in a lot of states. So senate should count… not sure what Missouri does specifically though.
Richard who was the Last Libertarian Us Senate candidate who real well percentage wise here in Missouri to maintain ballot access .Was it Bill Johnson who also ran for Governor of Alabama as a Republican .
I supporting Cisse Spragins for Governor no matter what .The CP here in Missouri is not very strong I think in some parts of Missouri like Jackson County .I live here in Missouri and the Libertarian party is very well established .Do you know who the last Candidate the Constitution party ran in the congressional district I live in .I live in the fourth district here in Dade County.Look me up let’s talk .
William,
I’m no Richard, but I think the last CP candidate in the fourth district was Greg Cowan in 2012.
Will the nearly useless mainstream so-called media be collecting ANY stats of votes for 3rd parties and independents — esp. for lower offices ???
I.E. have to wait until next Jan-Feb for official results ???
I love this news that Missouri is having such an inclusive debate. The Missouri voting electorate will be the most informed of any in the US about their future governor and senator.
Remember Martin Lindstendt who ran for state wide offices here in Missouri. He ran as a Libertarian Reform and Republican party’s.Now you don’t see his name .
