Anchorage School District Releases Results of Mock Election for President and Congress

On November 3, the Anchorage, Alaska School District released these election returns for the student vote, for president and both houses of Congress. Over 11,000 students participated.

The link does not show party affiliations of candidates. In the U.S. Senate race, Murkowski is the Republican nominee; Metcalfe is the Democrat; Miller is Libertarian; and the other three, Stock, Craig, and Gianoutsos, are independents. In the U.S. House race, Young is the Republican; Lindbeck is the Democrat; McDermott is the Libertarian; and Souphanavong is an independent.

  1. Sound like students are smarter than adults.I am happy to see school students voting for a Libertarian in a mock Election.
