  1. It would not be all that surprising if some electors elected on a Trump ticket also strayed in casting their electoral vote.

  2. If I recall correctly, there was a potential Republican elector I. Georgia who was saying the same thing about voting for Trump. I think he stepped aside as an elector.

  5. I’d like to know more about what the process of voting is actually like for electors. Do they get a ballot with names on it? Do they have to write the names in?

  6. Once a party has sent in its list of presidential elector candidates, those individuals are the party nominees. Of course they can resign and then be replaced, or die and then be replaced. But otherwise they won the nomination and it is theirs to keep.
