Stein Pennsylvania Recount Request Withdrawn — 11 Comments

  1. Well I guess they’ll have to keep all that extra money for themselves. WHAT A SURPRISE!

  2. Actually Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Secretary of State pulled a fast one on Stein. When Stein and company reported to the media the money they had raised and what they are trying to do Wisconsin jacked the filing fee up from 1.1 million dollars to 3.8 million dollars. Between that and the attorney’s fees the kitty was emptied out. See what happens when you shoot your mouth off ?

  3. Stein has raised 7 million so far, and still going, so unless those attorney fees are over $3 million, she’s pocketed a lot of cash.

  4. PA used a number of the DRE machines with NO paper trail.

Thus- Stein — one more useless MORON hack ??? — pending the above Fed court stuff (much lower cost).

  5. The were figuring 1 Million Dollars per state in Legal costs. There has been no announcement on the State Fee for Michigan. And when Pennsylvania slapped an additional 1 Million Dollar Bond on there proceeding Stein said they don’t have the money and were out. Stein has until 5 PM EST Monday to come up with the scratch. If not the Party is over.

  6. While stein has updated her donating webpage all it says is “If we raise more than what’s needed, the surplus will also go toward election integrity efforts and to promote voting system reform. This is what we did with our surplus in 2004.” which means they’ll keep the money for “reform efforts”

  7. The way things are going right now Stein may wind up digging in to her own pocket to settle the debt of her “Voting Reform Effort”.

  8. The fact that the recount effort highlights PA’s use of machines with no method of verification means Stein has already won. The night at the casino in Vegas machines need to GO!
