Norm Ornstein Advocates that Congress Pass Legislation for Special Elections for President — 7 Comments

  1. Its a shame that someone like this believes in this conspiracy theory, and that the Atlantic magazine is legitimizing this tin-foil-hat paranoia that has been griping a vocal minority of the DEM party. While he has several horrible plans for the US (protectionism, continuing BUSH-OBAMA wars, surveillance state, etc..) he won the election and unless he does something crazy won’t be impeached.

  2. I agree with Brandon. This is nothing more than another article trying to de-legitimize the election just because their favored candidate didn’t win. Grow up. Learn to deal with it.

  3. Well, we could call a special session of the last elected electoral college, and have them designate specific individuals to be “2nd Vice President” “3rd Vice President” and so on, up to however many they think necessary.

  4. Since we didn’t get our participation certificates we want a do over! 😉

  5. I certainly think this is a dumb article (and the Atlantic is full of half wit Democrats) in many ways. But why are all you Trump trolls here? Shouldn’t you be out helping build the wall that will make america white again?

  6. In the event that Donald Trump cannot serve, does not the vice-president, Mike Pence take his place. Why would there be a special election?
