The Guardian Story Features Seattle’s Public Funding Program for Candidates for City Office

The Guardian has this story, explaining how Seattle’s public funding works. Every eligible voter is furnished with $100 in democracy vouchers, in units of $25. The individual is free to use them to donate to candidates for city office. The system is being used for the first time this year. Thanks to Bruce Ballin for the link.
