New District of Columbia Voter Registration Data

The June 30, 2017 voter registration data for the District of Columbia shows these percentages for each party: Democratic 76.15%; Republican 6.23%; Green .76%; Libertarian .20%; independent and other 16.66%.

As of November 2016, the percentages were: Democratic 76.06%; Republican 6.25%; Green .76%; Libertarian .19%; independent and other 16.74%.

  1. Damn, Democrats have an absolute majority of the population of their side. And greens are only one remained unchanged too from last 8 months.

  2. Interesting. Quite a few of these have been posted over the last few months. This is the first one, that I recall seeing, that showed the Democrats increasing their percentage share. Every other one of these show Democrats with a declining share. For Republicans, those same reports are mixed, some increasing and some decreasing. Libertarians have increased in all but one that I recall (Pennsylvania), and Independent/unaffiliated has increased in all (except this one).
