On August 8, Iowa held a special election to fill the vacancy in the State House, 82nd district. Here is a link to the results. The percentages are: Democratic 53.80%; Republican 44.47%; Libertarian .95%; Constitution .78%.
When this seat was last up, in November 2016, the only candidate was the Democratic nominee. The district is in southeast Iowa.
Also interesting to note that Trump won this district by a margin of 22%.
