Concord, New Hampshire Monitor Carries Pro-Ranked-Choice Voting Op-Ed, One Day Before Legislative Committee Hears the Idea

The House Elections Law Committee in New Hampshire will hear HB 1540 on Tuesday, January 23. This is the bill to provide for ranked choice voting for federal and state office. The Concord Monitor has this op-ed in support of the idea, authored by Tiani X. Coleman, a leader of the group that advocates better treatment for independent voters.

Also, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has this op-ed by Sam Blankenship, in support of Proportional Representation.

  1. Pluralist psychology is entrenched in every detail in election law the establishment media.

The USA Parliament however, every detail in the election guidelines, has been built around pure proportional representation.

There are distinct differences between the two systems which make any chance that they provide common ground impossible.

The United Coalition has been using pure proportional representation for more than twenty-three consecutive years and we have been correct to prohibit any use of plurality elections on the team.

Now the unity phenomena continues to be the best feature on which we continue to attract team players.

  2. The first article is about creating a single winner district.

This article wants the largest civic group to win 100% of the time, like what SF adopted in 2002.
