I live in this district and it is as red as a firetruck. In most local elections its a race between the GOP and Conservative candidates.
I love this district where I live – I have had my house here for 15 years – I think there is a tremendous undercurrent of unhappiness with current politics and a pervasive sense that government services do not really serve WE THE PEOPLE – so I am determined to raise important issues from independent/3rd Party perspective
Glad to see that the NY Greens aren’t giving up that district. There is clearly quite a bit of support for the Green Party there, as Matt Funiciello proved in his last two runs.
Also, from what I can see so far Lynn seems like she would be a decent candidate. I wonder what Matt thinks.
The floor for the Green Party in NY-21 is 5%. She’ll get that and probably higher. She should truly try to run as a Bernie-style socialist candidate. She’d probably get up to 10-15% then.
She’ll get about 2 or 3%.
