Incumbent Missouri County Official Barred from Republican Primary Ballot Because of His Stance on Issues

The Republican County Central Committee of Christian County, Missouri, has denied permission for County Commission Chairman Ray Weter to run for re-election in the Republican primary. He was rejected because of his stance on certain political issues. See this story. He is still free to run as an independent candidate; his petition is not due until late July.

  1. What State has the highest percentage of DARK AGE control freak statist cultists ???

    UT, MO, etc. ???

    NO primaries.
    PR and AppV

  2. Is this a usual ability of parties in most states? My only experience with ballot laws is Illinois and Iowa, and in both of those states, once you turn in good signatures you are on the ballot.

  3. Regardless of what the public thinks, the political parties are PRIVATE parties with all the power to run them as they see fit. If a RINO or Democrat tries to run as a Republican, each county has not just the right but a DUTY to refuse their request to run as such! It’s called VETTING a candidate and all I can say is IT’S ABOUT TIME!
