  1. Mere 77.2 PCT in 2016 for ex-Donkey Rep Becarra in the rigged gerrymander district — like ALL rigged districts in CA.

  2. No. It was only a few days ago when anyone could even know who the candidates would be in this race. Also polls cost a lot of money and probably no one thinks a poll in this race is worth doing.

  3. Clay, because of the polarizing psychology cemented by plurality elections, it is guaranteed that both candidates of the third parties will lose by significant margins.

The only way for third parties to win is to attract votes from the 100% under the unifying phenomena of pure proportional representation (PPR).

Our team may be small but the message of unity is powerful and PPR is the perfect team builder. The long range prospects are good for PPR despite the party bosses of all parties who oppose PPR and their dysfunctional nature without PPR.

The United Coalition is able to make cross-partisan/independent but it only works when proportionalists principles are embraced.

The United Coalition has been using PPR for more than twenty-three consecutive years and PPR works fine.

  4. In the special election on June 6, 2017, Mejia received 4.4% and McArdle received .86%. There was one Republican, William Morrison who received 3.76%, one independent, Mark Edward Padilla, who received 1.17%, and 19 Democrats.

  5. By registration, the Democrats have a 58%-9% advantage over Republicans. The Peace & Freedom Party has more registered voters than either the Green or Libertarian parties.
