New Mexico Secretary of State Intends to Restore Straight-Ticket Device Despite Lack of Election Code Authorization

New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver says she intends to place a straight-ticket device on 2018 general election ballots, according to this story. There is no New Mexico election law authorizing such a device. The legislature has already adjourned for the year. One would think if she wants a straight-ticket device, she would have asked the legislature to authorize it. Thanks to Rick Lass for the link.

  1. Plurality elections sustain and perpetuate dysfunction so we can see the predictable patterns of acting against the best interests of the whole from pluralists.

If you want to use advanced elections then demonstrate you abilities to earn our trust under pure proportional representation (PPR) because your work under pluralism will only destroy the trust of others.

Pluralism and single-winner elections are no good and that’s why the United Coalition has prohibited all plurality elections and single-winner districts on our team since 1995.

In 1997 Sergie Brin joined our conversation in Usenet and switched his search engine’s name and other things after asking “What is a joogle?” but they went on to destroy our credibility as a typical pluralist divider.

The United Coalition has been using PPR for twenty-three consecutive years and PPR works fine.

  2. Since when did NM become a SOS LAWLESS TYRANNY ??? — SEE THE STALIN, HITLER, ETC. REGIMES.

  3. How many MORON States do NOT have 24/7 State legislatures —

permitting LAWLESS tyrant executive hacks to do whatever when such State legislatures are NOT in session ???

  4. Call me cynical. I believe this is nothing more than an attempt to suppress the votes for Libertarian Party candidates this coming election by hoping that lazy voters will just vote straight ticket rather than going through the ballot and possibly voting for a Libertarian in one or more races.
