Working Families Party Endorses Cynthia Nixon for Governor Instead of Andrew Cuomo

On April 14, the New York Working Families Party overwhelmingly endorsed Cynthia Nixon for Governor instead of incumbent Andrew Cuomo.  Cuomo is running for re-election this year.  See this story.  The WFP is now highly likely to nominate Nixon in May.  That would almost certainly mean that she would be on the November ballot as the WFP nominee.

  1. So it looks like it will be either a 4 or 5 person/party race with Cuomo(D), an undetermined sacrificial lamb(R), Howie Hawkins(G), Cynthia Nixon(WFP), and Larry Sharpe for the Libertarians. This should be interesting, someone with only 25-30% of the vote could win.

  2. Do the surviving NY Elephants have any extra cash to DIVIDE and CONQUER the NY leftwing hoards ???

    — ie Elephant cash for WFP ???

  3. It might end up being 7 candidates if the Upstate Jobs Party manages to get a candidate on ballot.

  4. US men who are interested in fair elections, equal treatment and multi-winner districts are uniting to elect our opposite gender by way of New York Super-state Parliament under pure proportional representation (PPR).

We especially like independents, splinter groups and alternative regular people.

But it takes time and dedication to accomplish what needs to be done.

  5. What are the *laws* of the usparliament regime having any criminal punishments and/or civil remedies ???

A GIANT/HUGE/BIG difference between proposed election systems and actual *governments*.

  6. DR, the USA Parliament is like a microscopic political party whose interest is in counting votes and using parliamentary procedures under pure proportional representation (PPR).

Regarding laws about criminal activity our guidelines do have a few guideline items which address the issue but the reality is that we are organised around small stacks if paper ballots and in some case “eballots” so our focus is mostly on the ballot preparation, the team psychology of multiple winners working together and so forth, while using PPR.

We look in the mirror at our own team with microscopic issues which are not significantly connected with “real pilitics”.

Real politics viciously oppose talk about the unifying psychology of PPR so our team is continually battered and slandered by egomaniacs who only care about single-winner power grabs and who have no use for PPR.
