5. No, Walter. There are self-proclaimed democratic socialists, not socialists, and those tend to be more social democrats than anything. The SPUSA has existed since the 1970’s and have been running presidential campaigns for decades. It’s not some Russian plot, nor was the Green Party’s Jill Stein. We live in a democracy. Third parties on the left have existed and ran campaigns for a long time. Accusing all leftist campaigns of being supportinf by Russians to help the Republicans is, frankly, disgusting.

10. I kind of want to see a debate between the Socialist Party candidate and the Prohibition Party candidate.

While that debate might be interesting, what I’d be more interested in is for the candidates of the leftists parties to debate each other so their differences on policy issues would be more out in the open. There were 6-8 leftist/socialist candidates for president in 2016 from established third-parties, and while I know they’re running to spread the word of their view and not to win, I think a debate between the candidates would only help that matter, though an SEP member attacking a SWP member probably wouldn’t be out of the question if a debate were ever held.
