Two Prominent Republicans Author Op-Ed in Favor of National Popular Vote Plan

Michael Steele, former national chair of the Republican Party, and Saul Anuzis, former chair of the Michigan Republican Party, have this op-ed in the Bangor Daily News.  It argues in favor of the National Popular Vote, and quotes President Trump has having said that the winner of the national popular vote ought to be the person elected.

  2. No need for states anymore. Get rid of the electoral college. Get rid of the United States Senate. Have the House of Representatives meet virtually and expand it to one member for every 50,000 population. There… all problems solved.
