On the evening of July 18, CNN announced the results of its random selection of Democratic presidential candidates. See this story, which lists who will debate on July 30, and who will debate on July 31.
Each night will have ten debaters. July 30: Bennet, Biden, Booker, Castro, de Blasio, Gabbard, Gillibrand, Harris, Inslee, and Yang.
July 31: Bullock, Bittigieg, Delaney, Hickenlooper, Klobuchar, O’Rourke, Ryan, Sanders, Warren, and Williamson.

Biden is stuck with all the attack dogs. Harris, Castro, Booker, Gabbard, and de Blasio are going to hit him from every angle.
No Gravel, no point in watching. I’m getting tired of how awful these qualifying rules are. Here’s an idea, if you’re a major declared candidate (say, I don’t know, ever held elective office or be important enough to have a wikipedia page), you’re invited to the debates, done. All 25 candidates should be there. They’re just as legitimate as these ones, but if they’re not in the debates, how are they suppose to even try to get their word out? The DNC, as usual with it’s corruption, is picking and choosing what we get to see. They should just hold a debate between the ones who didn’t make it to this one, as they’ll never truly make the official rules, so why not completely buck them and have their own debate?

The first night of the June Dem debates had 15.3 million television viewers, the second night had 18.1 million television viewers, with an additional 9 million who watched online (total 27.1 million watched live).
For comparison, in 2015 there were two Republican debates with television viewers of 23 and 24 million. The most watched Dem debate in 2015 had 15.8 million.
