New York holds partisan local elections on November 5, 2019. This story says that all Libertarians running in Erie County have been removed from the ballot because of paperwork errors. 2019 is the first election in which the Libertarian Party has been a ballot-qualified party in New York state, so the party doesn’t have the experience with this type of paperwork that the older qualified parties have.

I’m not a big fan of the Libertarian Party but I’m sorry that this happened. In other news: There will be a two candidate race better a Democrat and a Libertarian for Albany County Executive.
As the new county chair. I’d love to tell the actual story of what happened. Our only issue was the lack of experience with corruption.

Whitmer wants to be a future nominee of the libertarian party , and James Rosenbeck is the current LP NYS Chair. After a Libertarian candidate was placed on the Buffalo Common Counsel for Fillmore ballot, Whitmer decided he did not want that candidate on the ballot. Whitmer and Rosenbeck REFUSED to correct paperwork that they knew for months would invalidate the whole line in Erie County. Duane Whitmer has serious ethic issues. I offered to help on his campaign but after 7 months of experience which involves Whitmer, no way. He was a former treasurer of our counties 2A org and we ended up having to have a police escort to his court and then have him served via Process Server to get our treasurers books, etc. from him. He resigned and stated he would mail our property in a week. He never did. We now our taking him to court because he hasn’t reimbursed us for the costs to retrieve our chapters property. There is much much more. He is a person not of good character and does not hold the moral ground.
