  1. Nope. EVERY alternative voting system potentially has Condorcet problems, RemoDep. Blather away.

  2. One interesting point that the article didn’t mention is that Maine is keeping its election by district, as well as adopting ranked choice voting. This means that there will actually be THREE ranked choice votes for President in Maine: one in each of the districts, and one overall vote.

  3. RCV = rigged majority ***mandate*** in each rigged gerrymander area – State / CD.

    1/2 votes x 1/2 gerrymander areas [with 27O of 538 ECV] = 1/4 CONTROL

How many more added gerrymander areas before 2020 general election day ???

    PR and AppV and TOTSOP

  4. @ Demo Rep: Condorcet with approval/disapproval tie-break voting? Interesting. Do you have a link? Is it used anywhere?

  5. Condorcet has been around since 1780s (repeat 1780s) and likely much earlier.

Only recent computers make it now quite possible for use in larger elections.

    Do Google searches.
