New York Moves Presidential Primary from April 28 to June 23

On Saturday, March 28, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo moved the state’s presidential primary from April 28 to June 23. He chose June 23 because that is the date for the state’s primary for office other than president.

The Democratic and Republican Party national bylaws penalize states that hold their presidential primaries later than the first week in June, but the Democratic Party National Committee will soon meet and try to relax that rule. Thanks to Political Wire for this news.

  1. This also makes the first ever Libertarian primary in NY moot since the meeting is scheduled for May

  2. Well, it turns out there wasn’t going to be a Libertarian presidential primary in New York anyway. Although some presidential candidates filed for the Libertarian presidential primary, they were removed from the ballot because they didn’t file slates of delegates in each U.S. House district. Then the state cancelled the Libertarian presidential primary.

The New York Republican presidential primary was cancelled for the same reason.

  3. Even more LAWLESS tyrant stuff-

see that Campaign Finance Comm case a few days/weeks ago.

    LEGIS POWER in LEGIS.

666 TYRANTS using the Covid-19 rot to OVERTHROW ALL Consts ??? Duh.
