On Sunday, May 24, the Libertarian virtual national convention will choose a vice-presidential nominee. The delegates will choose between Ken Armstrong, Spike Cohen, Adam Kokesh, and John Monds.

  1. I would like to see Hornberger myself but his ego is just too large to be #2.

  2. DR – probably 1980. No re-run of that scenario on option here, though Kokesh has his own following.

    The VP slot does matter. Koch obviously in 1980. As female candidates, I’d imagine Nancy Lord and Jo Jorgensen helped attract *some* votes for their tickets.

    Bill Weld certainly gained (and cost) Gary Johnson votes in 2016. I suspect he helped more than he hurt.

  4. Cohen has a different style and following and will appeal to the youth(for whatever small amount that matters in the vote totals) in a way that nobody else on any ticket will. The only thing I’m concerned about with him is that he’s gonna need to get in line with the Jorgensen team’s professional campaign approach which is different from the #InOnTheJoke style, but that shouldn’t be a big deal.
