As someone who has petitioned before, this is not surprising. My rule of thumb is 50% are going to get thrown out if someone with a big enough grudge against you is reviewing them. Informative nonetheless.
I thought the state already checked all petitions and approved?
NJ basically just checks the number of signatures, not who signed them. There is i believe a 4 day window after the filing deadline where any member of the public can view the petitions and file a formal challenge in administrative court to attempt to get a candidates petition thrown out.
And it’s looking like Oklahoma will continue to be the only state kayne will be on the ballot..
There are still several states where Kanye COULD get on the ballot, IF whoever is running his campaign executes an intelligent ballot access game plan, which means not starting states within only a few days before a deadline.
