Some individuals and groups that supported Bernie Sanders for president this year, and in 2016, are not satisfied with the Democratic Party. They plan to organize their own Peoples Party, and contest the 2024 presidential election. Marianne Williamson, who sought the Democratic nomination this year, has joined them. See this story. You would think. But if the GP is not welcoming, as I have seen, an alternative party looks good.
Walter – From what I gather, many Sanders supporters are more Leninist while the Greens like to think of themselves as more libertarian socialist.
I would suggest that the GP outreach to the proposed peoples party/revolution.
They could form caucus. I would suggest the democratic party defectors caucus.
