Brock Pierce Is Only Independent Presidential Candidate to Submit a Wyoming Petition

August 25 was the Wyoming deadline for independent candidate petitions. The only presidential independent petition submitted was for Brock Pierce.

Wyoming has four ballot-qualified parties: Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Constitution.

Although Kanye West petitioned, he apparently did not get enough signatures, because he did not submit any.

  1. So Kanye won’t even be on the ballot in his new home state. I know he did a paid petition drive there. He must not have gotten even the minimum number of signatures to turn in to the state. This is what happens when you start petition drives at the last minute.

  2. Speaking of hip hop stars, Akon who at one point of time was also considering running for President has now decided to help run the campaign of Brock. I have to say that the people who have been currently running his campaign have done a great job with regards to ballot access. Akon can help boost name recognition. Both Akon and perhaps Brock are billionaire entrepreneurs who are leaving their mark on cryptocurrency.

By the way I see that Veterans Party of America have not yet chosen their candidate. Maybe they can look into choosing Brock Pierce?

  3. I think Howie Hawkins will be on more ballots than any minor party or independent except Jorgensen.

Brock Pierce may end up with 15 states (including DC, which is technically not a state), maybe a few more, but I doubt more than 20.

  4. Charles, I have heard the Veterans Party linked you with the alliance party and I’ve also heard the Veterans party nominated Max Abramson so I am not sure what’s going on with them.

  5. Hey Brad, you seem to think I’m a politician. Maybe l should be flattered. I’m just your average Joe who is interested in politics and not just in the U.S. l’m not at all interested in running for office whether is national or local. Even if l was, l probably won’t win. Wikipedia indicates that Max Abramson is seeking the nomination of Veterans Party of America. VPA’s website say that they are still actively searching for their candidate. Maybe they won’t endorse anyone, we will see…

  6. Lol Charles. Didn’t think you were politician. Just a typo. I should have proofread before hitting the comment button.
I saw that on Wikipedia as well on Abramson. Not sure it’s reliable or not 🤷‍♂️

  7. For a laugh, someone should color in a map of all the states where “Ye” has failed (IL, MN, MO, NJ, SC, TN, WI, WV). I’ll do it if someone gives me a link on where to post it.

  8. He also failed in FL, NY, and AL. He started petition drives in these places, but they quickly pulled the plug when they realized he had no chance to make it.

They currently have paid petitioners on the ground in Arizona. They started AZ on 8/22. The deadline is 9/4. They need 37,769 valid signatures. That is going to be extremely difficult to do.
