Rocky De La Fuente Has Enough Signatures in Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Secretary of State’s office says Rocky De La Fuente now has enough valid signatures to be on the ballot as the presidential nominee of the Alliance Party.

  1. Curiously, the RI Secretary’s web site only lists one Presidential elector for him. Why is that?

  2. Rhode Island does not care if a presidential candidate only has one candidate for presidential elector. The names of the electors don’t appear on the ballot, so unless a candidate truly expects to carry Rhode Island, it really doesn’t matter if he or she only runs a single presidential elector candidate.

  3. He may get Rhode Island but loses out on Delaware where he had his company, American Delta party registered. What a shame as the plan was to have his party merge with the Alliance Party. I think that may still be the plan but after the Presidential elections since now they don’t have ballot access.
