Kansas Libertarian Party is First Third Party to Have Registration Above 1% Since Before Beginning of Mandatory Voter Registration

As of October 12, here are the number of registered voters in each of the three qualified parties of Kansas: Republican 865,387; Democratic 509,048; Libertarian 20,353; independent and miscellaneous 524,195.

The percentages are: Republican 45.10%; Democratic 26.53%; Libertarian 1.06%; independent and miscellaneous 27.32%.

In February 2020, the percentages were: Republican 43.78%; Democratic 24.85%; Libertarian .99%; independent and miscellaneous 30.38%.

This is the first time that any party other than the Republican or Democratic Parties has had registration above 1% of the total since 1973, when all parts of Kansas first required voter registration. Before 1973, each county decided for itself whether to require voter registration or not. Thus before 1973 there are no official, complete registration tallies for the entire state.

  1. Govt party regis lists = PURGE lists

ZERO learned from pre Civil War bleeding Kansas, Hitler / Stalin purges.

    >>> NOOOOO govt party regis lists.

  2. This is very good news. Was just on the Kansas SOS’s webpage this morning and do not see any update on voter registration. Richard, where did you get this information and does it include a breakdown by county?

  3. This would be the sixth state where Libertarian registration has exceed 1%. The others are Alaska, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, and Utah. One note on Nevada — it did exceed 1%, but has dipped slightly below the last time I checked.

Based on my tracking and prior to this news, I was expecting Kansas and Idaho to be the next states to go above 1%. We now have confirmation of Kansas. I’m not sure about Idaho, as Idaho numbers have been hard to come by lately.
They used to post montly, but the last update I’ve seen was early June.

  4. The United Coalition USA will be helping the Libertarian Party of Nevada to break away from California because California makes 1/12th the national population and we like the twelve month cycles as part of collaboration with unamed leaders.

The Black Panther Party and One Party are working with the Wxyz New Day Party through the next four weeks despite be censored news everywhere.

  5. Today’s Los Angeles County Mini-state Zoom Show starts at 9 am Pacific and we discuss the unification and welcoming of all outsider US President or Vice President and Electors. Then in four weeks everything starts fresh so the next four weeks are exciting!

  6. Eric, I got the information from the Kansas Secretary of State by phone and e-mail. I didn’t get it by county; I just got state totals.

  7. Tom, thanks for your comment and the information about other states. The Idaho Secretary of State’s office says someone is working on getting new data. As you probably noticed they don’t have anything newer than June 2020 on their website.

  8. 0.1 or less pct of govt budgets for election stuff ???

99.9 or more pct for LOOT for special interest gangs ???

ENTIRE regimes are minority rule gerrymander oligarchies.

  9. Richard,

Thank you. The Kansas SOS site used to provide detail info on registration every election cycle but recently took it down.

If you ever need someone in Kansas to lobby on some ballot access issue let me know. I am retired now and have time. Take care and thanks for all the work you do.
