The Queens Daily Eagle has this op-ed by two New York city Democratic Party officials. It urges voters to vote for Joe Biden on the Working Families line, not the Democratic line. This is because they believe the Working Families Party deserves to remain ballot-qualified. The new ballot access law passed six months ago requires all qualified parties to poll at least 2% for president in order to remain on the ballot.

Bernie Sanders encouraged voting WFP on twutter 25th,and AOC appeared in an ad for the party released on the 22nd (currently the pinned tweet of the WFP Twitter account. Cynthia Nixon, the party’s original 2018 Gubernatorial nominee, have her support on the 26th.
Honestly Richard, there is quite a bit of reporting going on about the WFP, and I’m surprised you haven’t posted more about them. (Maybe I’m biased because I am a member of the party, but I hope I’m not too biased. Thank you for providing one of the few American forums that doesn’t ridicule third party supporters!)
Working Families is just a shell for the communist Democrats. The increased requirements are more to hurt the Libertarians.

This is because, when it comes to Presidential and Gubernatorial elections, the WFP isn’t a threat to the two-party state. The Libertarian and Green Parties are, however, because they actually run their own candidates.
I predict: that if Trump loses, and the Libertarian popular votes exceed the spread between Biden and Trump, that the next Republican candidate for President (possibly Rand Paul) will attempt a Republican-Libertarian fusion candidacy.
Polls are consistently showing that the spread between Biden and Trump will be approximately 15,000,000 votes.
The polls also said Hillary Clinton would easily become President. How did that go?
I predict the Donkey/Elephant gerrymander oligarchs conspiracy will wipe out ALL third parties in ALL *statewide* marginal States — with *fusion* only in the de facto ONE party regimes — CA, MA, etc.

Is that 2 percent of the vote for president OR 50,000 for governor? Or is it just the vote for president? In that case only the Conservative, Libertarian, and Green parties have a chance.
The new New York law eliminates any reference to 50,000 votes. The new vote test is 2% for the office at the top of the ballot every 2 years.
The Libertarians are in an interesting position. In 2016, Gary Johnson was the candidate of both the Libertarian Party and the Independence Party of New York, both of which were ballot-qualified. Unusually, the two party lines were not added up, because the parties had two different elector slates for the same candidate, with the libertarian slate receiving .75% and the Independence slate receiving 1.55% Besides the 2016 finish, libertarians haven’t traditionally done very well, with them only gaining automatic ballot access after 2018. The Libertarian Party of New York is currently represented by one state senator, George Borrello, who represents the 57th district and is also representing the Republican, Conservative, and Independence parties.
Like in any other state, all votes for anyone running against TRUMP will go on the trash after a copy is made for evidence in the trials coming soon for all who stand against TRUMP.

Thanks, Richard. I found out today it’s 130K for getting on the ballot for the next two years. That means only the Conservative Party and a big maybe for the LP and Green parties who will get enough votes to still on the ballot.
