The Guardian, one of the best-read and most influential newspapers in the United Kingdom, here analyzes whether people who voted for Jo Jorgensen would have voted for President Trump if the Libertarian Party had not run its own candidate. The conclusion is that it is impossible to know.

  1. What took place in CA 53 of the 58 county ROV’s ignored the California Election Code section 13205(b) & (c) and failed to give the required instruction as required by law.

    Therefore CA Elections Code 13200 will kick in and the votes of over 96.5% of the CA ballots will not be lawfully cast or counted in California

  3. It is a useless debate since there was no way the LP would not run their own candidate. They always do. Maybe this would be a worthy discussion if the GOP nominated a ‘libertarian’ Republican like Ron Paul or Rand Paul. But, why would they not nominate a candidate?

    This is not at all like analyzing Perot in 1992. He was an independent candidate and you can imagine him not running if he preferred another candidate. The LP is its own entity. And they nominated a candidate without much name recognition.

  4. I was seeing in the early moments of the election results coming in that Biden supporters on Twitter were cursing Jorgensen when he was falling behind Trump in Florida. The numbers now show that Trump has an outright majority in that state, yet now in the other states where Biden has a plurality that Trump supporters are cursing Jorgensen. This whole voting shaming / election blaming nonsense is simply a case of accusations “in the eye of the beholder”.

  11. The Guardian’s opinion columns are unashamedly left wing. However, its factual reporting is usually pretty good. The comparison on the right would not be Infowars or even the Daily Mail but rather the Daily Telegraph.

    Its paper circulation is quite low but its website has a much wider reach.

  12. What do you guys think of ancient Aryan astronaut theory? I think this was discussed on another of these political blogs a few years ago but I don’t remember what it was called. Any way this blog had a lot of racist trolls for quite a few years who were kinda obsessed with hobos with clipboards for some weird reason and they kept having fights and accusing each other of horrible crimes and some of them actually did get arrested from time to time for everything from election and charity fraud to trespassing, aggressive soliciting and terroristic threats and there were allegations of animal cruelty, auto theft, and even murder.

When you search “One Black Panther” for President we can’t get any outcome at all and we only got about 25 clicks on our YouTube video so the United Coalition USA didn’t affect the results and our team won because we were for a female name elected #1 for men and a male name at #1 for women. The majority won though men wanted a female name.

  14. Hey Carlos I think I remember that too. I think what happened was that the racist posts started out as ancient Aryan astronaut and then went through a bunch of different names but at some point had their own blog under the name Vernon or Victor or something with a v. But that blog got taken down though. There was also an Andy Jacobs blog at one point which may have been connected to that, right?

    So also in this time frame there was a bunch of trolls who were mostly obsessed with sex and gender issues and people’s appearances that went through a whole bunch of names too, like concerned citizen, Nathan Norman, Egyptian god etc. Which also turned super racist as well after a while.

    Looking at your link I read down to the suggested links section at the bottom and there was one about Andy embracing white power and 14 words with a bunch of his posts about white genocide which is now called the great replacement. Many fine people were chanting about it in Charlottesville while sporting stylish haircuts and tiki torches.

    So anyway I don’t know what all this means and I’m not really sure what I think about ancient Aryan astronauts but it’s fascinating for sure, that I can tell you, believe me.

  21. It’s becoming increasingly clear that ranked choice voting is the logical method for Presidential elections. It can be implemented in any state without a constitutional amendment, or interstate compact. It is the rational method of sorting out voters’ intentions in the swing states without costly run-offs. AND, it’s also the way to go with crowded Presidential primaries.

    Condorcet is the ideal method. BUT, there isn’t always a Condorcet winner. RCV should find the Condorcet winner, but, if there isn’t any, then the winner should be the highest vote getter on the final round.

  43. I am glad that Donald Trump lost, not so glad that Joe Biden won. I would never vote for either one of those candidates. I gladly voted for Jo Jorgenson, not to spoil anything but to show my opposition to the bipartisan big government crowd.
    Nonetheless, I am glad to see it highlighted that Jorgenson and the Libertarian Party got more than the difference i several states – currently in Arizona, Georgia & Pennsylvania. Griping by Republican losers gives us more visibility. And griping by Walter Block should tell real libertarians that they should not pay attention to him – a fact I have known for 51 years.

The defense, intel, homeland security and department of justice federal law enforcement apparatus are being mobilized to defend TRUMP after the supreme court rules in his favor in all the election related lawsuits. Then, the insurrection act and national emergency will be invoked when the left wing scum take to burn, loot and murder because they don’t like it.
