So, how hard will ballot access be if he runs as an Independent?
The State Senate independent petitions are 3% of the last gubernatorial vote inside that district. The average State Senate independent would need 892 signatures in 2022.
In the past (starting in 1955) the Arkansas independent petition was 15% of the last gubernatorial vote, but that was struck down and then it was made 7%, and then that was struck down.
