New Kansas Registration Data

The Kansas Secretary of State has released these statewide active voter registration totals as of February 1, 2021: Republican 871,817; Democratic 508,808; Libertarian 21,297; independent and miscellaneous 537,698.

Percentages are: Republican 44.95%; Democratic 26.23%; Libertarian 1.10%; independent and miscellaneous 27.72%.

Percentages as of October 12, 2020, were: Republican 45.10%; Democratic 26.53%; Libertarian 1.06%; independent and miscellaneous 27.32%.

  1. 6 of the 29 states that have LP voter registration are above 1%. And 5 others are between 0.89% and 0.98%.

  2. @Jim, and coincidentally(?) everyone of those states is located in whole or in part west of the 100th meridian(west).

  3. I only saw 4 in the l.p. Above 1% ks, ne, wy, and I think id or ut? What were the others and percents and the 5 above .89 and percents

    Nebraska 1.44%
    Alaska 1.16%
    Utah 1.12%
    Kansas 1.10%
    Idaho 1.06% (5 states above 1%)

    Colorado 0.99%
    Nevada 0.98%
    Wyoming 0.95%
    New Mexico 0.94%
    California 0.91%
    Arizona 0.89% (6 between 0.89-0.99)

    After that the next highest is Oregon, 0.74%.
