The Socialist Workers Party will petition in New Jersey this year to be on the ballot for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. See this story. The requirement is 800 signatures, due in June. If the petition succeeds, this will be the first time the SWP has been on the ballot for Governor of New Jersey since 2005.

  1. I had a difficult time with a SWP candidate and a candidate debate I had setup, but I would welcome a socialist or a libertarian into the electoral debate.

  4. The One Party would love to participate in this and any other campaigns when appropriate. Need not change voter registration nor proclaim One Party affiliation to be voting member on Electoral College 2024.

Contact the One Party Secretary at the pure proportional representation (PPR) Electoral College at http://Www.pprelectotalcollege.com or http://www.1ogle.com where we bring the new 1Ogle Method.

  5. @Sam

Because some, if not most, socialist and communist parties don’t believe in voting Democratic to advance their causes, which makes sense, as the Democratic Party is a capitalist party, and many in socialist circles don’t see us getting a socialist country by voting capitalist. The CPUSA, I’m sure, has their reasons, but most socialist parties (SPUSA, SWP, PSL, SEP, and FSP for example) generally try to run their own candidates when feasible.
