Michigan Canvassing Board Approves Ballot Language Description of National Popular Vote Initiative

On October 26, the Michigan State Board of Canvassers approved a description of the National Popular Vote Plan initiative. The description will be printed on the petition and, if it qualifies, the ballot. See this story. Thanks to Thomas Jones for the link.

  1. Michigan would be foolish to throw away its status as a major swing state.

    A much better reform for Michigan would be the Maine method for selecting electors with ranked choice voting by district.
