Now is the Time to Ask Legislators to Introduce Bills

Late October and November are the best times for individuals to ask legislators to introduce bills. Many states badly need better ballot access laws.

In New York, independent U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare (who hopes to run in 2022) is organizing a group to find a sponsor for a bill that would decrease the 45,000-signature requirement passed in 2020. In Oregon, the Working Families Party is working to find a sponsor for a bill to ease the registration test for a party to remain on the ballot.

  1. How many regimes still in 2021 session ???

How many regimes with NOOO 2022 regular sessions ???

Still waiting for a genius lawyer to detect EQUAL in 1954 Brown v bd of Ed applied to ballot access.

  2. The best ballot access law would be a ballot like the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot with voter verifiability via encryption like that proposed and patented by David Chaum.
Anything less is just more lipstick and mascara on the pigs of voter censorship.
