Rocky De La Fuente Has Enough Valid Signatures in Tennessee — 8 Comments

  1. If you look on the wikipedia page for the presidential election, Darrell Castle is now listed as a major candidate. This is in part because Wikipedia is counting write-in access towards actual ballot access. They say Castle is at 277, only because they counted his write-in access in Texas, Indiana, and Alabama, with his actual total at 219.

  2. I expect that Rocky De La Fuente will get to 270 even without counting his write-in access.

  3. Mentioning Wikipedia, is their list for ballot access correct or not? If not, could you point out the errors?

  4. Someone put down that Rocky made the ballot in Wisconsin. Can any one check if that’s true? Last time I heard about Wisconsin, De La Fuente and Monica Moorehead submitted petitions. Have their petitions been checked?

  5. Yes he did qualify according to the Wisconsin GAB, not sure about her, I also put that down.

  6. Speaking of Castle, it looks like he might have missed Minnesota’s deadline. Their SOS website doesn’t show petitions having been filed on his behalf.

  7. I heard that Rocky had, or was supposed to have had, paid petitioners in Minnesota. I am not sure what happened after that.

  8. Regarding Wikipaedia, I’ll fill this in regarding Johnson and Stein.

For Johnson, Wikipaedia is mostly in line with what is reported on the LP website, though I think the LP website is slow (or perhaps careful) about when they update a state. The only difference, as of this particular moment, is that Wikipaedia is showing Johnson on the Ballot in Iowa, but the LP website isn’t. Johnson has submitted petitions in Iowa, as far as I know, but I don’t know whether the SOS office has made it official. Their other missing states — Alabama, CT, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Virginia, line up to what the LP says.

For Stein, I think there are more discrepancies. Wiki shows her on in Idaho, but Jill’s own website doesn’t show that. Jill’s website shows she is on in Montana, but Wiki doesn’t. Jill’s is correct on the Montana point, and the GP Facebook page even has a picture of their confirmation in Montana, down to the details of how many of the submitted signatures were valid, and the specific reasons why the invalid signatures were rejected. Wiki isn’t showing her on in Missouri, which I think it was reported she cleared yesterday. Her website is showing she’s on in Kansas, but I haven’t seen any other report of that, and Wiki isn’t showing that. Finally, Wiki isn’t showing her with anything in Georgia, but Jill’s website says she has write in access in Georgia. Wiki only shows Jill with write in access in Indiana and North Carolina.
