  1. Connecticut will have a crowded ballot for Senate. In addition to Lamont, Lieberman, Schlesinger (R) John Mertons is the candidate of the Independent Party, and there are candidates from the Green Party and the Concerned Citizens Party.

    Finally some choice.

  2. Hey, “the more the merrier”!

Conneticut must not have a “Sore Loserman Law.”

  3. I hope Lieberman wins so Third Party and Independent hopefuls will have an ally in Congress when they decide to run.

  4. Lieberman has said if he wins as independent he will caucus with Democrats. So I don’t see him starting to back other independents

  5. If re-elected can’t Lieberman just change his party affiliation from Independent to Democrat once he returns to the Senate in Jan 2007?

  6. Tuesday was a wonderful day for the Peace Movement! That was just the tip of the iceberg, also.

  7. Considering the amount of Nader/spoiler villification that Lieberman has slung since 2000, I doubt he would be a friend to third party ballot access if elected.

As Brad says, he can simply just re-join one of the two major parties (sort of a reverse Jim Jeffords) if elected.
