  1. I thank God for grace. Ison Thomas who was the people choice in June 2006 was denied the right to have his name placed on the democratic party as the democratic nominee due to failure to disclose financial information properly. Voters proved that they don’t need the democratic party to elect a candidate. There was over 500 signs seemly place all around the entire region instruction voters to vote straight democratic tickets. There were other ploys such as bogus write in ballots in an attempt to confuse voters. What make this victory so sweet is that the upper class felt that the “functional illiterates” wouldn’t be able to pull this off successfully. Now that it has been done either the democratic committee is blocking the press that this should receive. After all it should sparks other counties and states as we are presently trying to do to form a coalition against corrupt political groups in alabama. It hight time that the voice of the people speak and not high paid special interest group that receive the money from state candidates who care less about the concerns of the people in Greene County or any other local government for that matter. Power to the people and down with big government who take our votes for granted. They act like we are married to a party that does so little for the people.
