On August 19, Markham Robinson and Wiley Drake asked a U.S. District Court in Orange County, California, to re-enter the lawsuit Barnett v Obama, SACV09-82. This is one of the lawsuits over the constitutional qualifications to be President. Drake was the vice-presidential candidate listed on the November 2008 ballot in California for the American Independent Party, and Markham is the state chair of the faction of the AIP that supported Alan Keyes for president.
The two are now represented by attorney Gary Kreep. Earlier the attorney for the other plaintiffs, Orly Taitz, had submitted paperwork that indicated Drake and Markham were dropping out of the case. Actually, Drake and Markham want to remain in the case with another attorney. Thanks to Bill Van Allen for this news.
Do even the allegedly sovereign 50 States have *standing* to enforce the limitations in the Constitution ???
See Art. VII of the Constitution.
The corruption of Mark Robinson is documented at TheCorruptionOfAlanKeyes.blogspot.com. Unfortunately Wiley Drake has smeared himself by endorsing the corruption of Alan Keyes.
Don Grundmann Vice-Chairman American Independent Party, California branch of the Constitution Party
Warning! Don Grundmann is a member of the State
Central Committee of the American Independent Party. He has not been an officer of the American
Independent Party since September 2, 2008. He was
removed as an Area Director of the American Independent Party by former state chairman Ed Noonan in 2008. He has never been “Vice-Chairman
American Independent Party, California branch of the Constitution Party”.
On June 27, 2008, the State Central Committee of the American Independent Party voted to affiliate
with the America’s Independent Party of Fenton,
Mich. Thereby making history any claims of affiliation to the Constitution Party.
I was re-elected the Vice Chairman of the American
Independent Party by its State Central Committee on July 6, 2008 at the Auditorium of the California Secretary of State Building, Sacramento,
California. The day before, viz., July 5, 2008,
the delegates to the Convention of the American
Independent Party pick the ticket of Keyes – Drake
for the 2008 Presidential and Vice Presidential ticket. Don Grundmann attended that 2008 Convention, but walk out of the Auditorium prior to
the vote. My guess the reason he walked out was he
found zero support for himself (other than his own
vote, viz., no one to give him a second from the floor for President.).
I was the elected Chairman of the 2008 Convention
of the American Independent Party.
On other posting by Don Grundmann on Ballot Access News he made false claims he was “elected the Vice-
Chairman” of the “American Independent Party,
California branch of the Constitution Party” at a
Convention in Los Angeles on the dates of June 26,
2008 – June 27, 2008 and also on June 28, 2008 –
June 29, 2008.
By the California Election Code the Convention of the American Independent Party is always to be conducted in “Sacramento”. Officer of the American
Independent Party are only elected by the State
Central Committee, viz., Conventions do not elect
officer of the American Independent Party.
Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Vice Chairman, American
Independent Party.
@Mark Seidenberg
Yeah yeah, dude. Everyone reading this site already knows about that drama. The truth is both factions have good arguments for being the legitimate AIP.
However, to an objective observer, Grundmann’s faction is way more respectable. You guys affiliated yourself to the practically non-existent vanity party of a sore loser candidate. That’s just dumb politically.
Ad to that the fact that said sore loser candidate is also a parasite who doesn’t work and lives off campaign money, well that’s just not right morally.
If the AIP wants to be in any way viable, it’s clear who SHOULD be running it.
The personal corruption of Mark Seidenberg, inclusive of the outright lies on all subjects which he presents in his above post, is documented at TheCorruptionOfAlanKeyes.blogspot.com.
