On May 1, Public Policy Polling released this poll for the presidential election in Virginia. When Virgil Goode, Constitution Party nominee, is included, the results are: President Obama 50%, Mitt Romney 38%, Virgil Goode 5%, other or undecided 7%. Thanks to PoliticalWire for the link.
NICE!
Polls don’t mean much anyway.
Right now, you divide by half. Goode will win about 2.5 percent. (Still a lot for a CP candidate for president.) The polls are usually only valid in the last two weeks of campaigning.
Has any CP presidential candidate ever polled that high at any time in a past presidential election, RJ?

4) In 2008, Chuck Baldwin got 1.3 percent of the vote in Utah. That’s the highest percentage in a state for president.
