Daily Kos Displays Poll-Closing Hours for Entire U.S. — 6 Comments

  1. Even if the GOP wins controls of the U.S. Senate, if they lose in New Hampshire, Georgia, and North Carolina, one will be lead to believe by the liberal mainline news media that it was the Democrats who were really “victorious.”

A Republican win will be a “back page” news item, compared to the coverage of Democratic wins in New Hampshire, Georgia, and North Carolina.

I had predicted earlier the Republicans would not win the U.S. Senate, and I still believe it is a possibility they will lose outright victory by 1 seat – even if there is a “run-off” in Georgia and Louisiana.

The Democrats seem to have a better ground game for getting out the votes – something the Republicans have not really caught onto yet. And, the country is changing. As the 21st generationers or Generation X, as they are called, begin to participate more and more in national elections, we are going to see a reflection of the changing values via the votes they cast.

America is not longer your grandfather’s country!

  2. Super easy to be a demagogue Donkey communist —

More news coming. The 20th year may be the last!

  4. We can’t depend on the city and counties because all of those those elected officials are elected in single-winner districts.

Do you think that someone will read this, phone me and say; “Wow, James Ogle, I really want to work with you on that.”

No. No current established political party or state governmental entity is familiar with team psychology in diverse multi-winner district districts nor do they want to put out the effort needed to engage such a team.

Maybe Cambridge Massechusetts would be the one exception.

We need team players. Not too many city councils understand, or are open and willing to be team players using multi-winner districts so they will be opposed.

The only balls they’ll be kicking won’t be on any political team/sports team. I can guarantee that. You best pick team players from people who want to participate from the correct tool. No political committee where single-winner districts are being used will be helpful. No committee which excludes people for any reason will be helpful. We have to protect every single voter who wants to be on the correct team system because every vote is a potential tie-breaker.

But to try to work with any entity, governmental or private, that uses division, conflict, exclusion, etc., will harm the team.

It’s far too difficult to depend on the team players that have been identified.

But it’s impossible to depend on the selfish, single-winner power-grabbers, the power mongers and control freaks who are bent on dashing cooperation and synchronization with a pure proportional representation team.

I am writing a report now on the history of the past 19 years and all the political entities who have destroyed our efforts. Not only Republican and Democratic, but Green, Peace and Freedom, Libertarian and American Independent. I know of no political party who can help the 9th USA Parliament’s efforts at this point in time.

But we do have hundreds of individuals who want to try to help. Everyone is different, with differing talents and few understand teamwork under PR. So the actual talent pool is very tiny indeed.

Many were given the ample chance and opportunity. From Ralph Nader, to Patrick Buchanan. The “big names” are too few. Not too many can put themselves in a position of relevance to the team but those few who have are in place and with those we should build.

A good analogy is D-Day, Normandy Beach. We have a landing craft and many more are expected to hit the beach eventually. But 19 years represents 19 minutes and these first 19 minutes have left many dead at the gate, dead in the water, shell shocked and blinded.

But at current pace, “Battle of the Bulge” is still 175,000 years in the future. A few of us need to synchronize and organize to make it a few more yards inland. And those in the concrete bunker aren’t going to be helping us. Those who are dazed can’t be of any help. They have to understand the plan. No one person will be able to run up by themselves and take that bunker. We can’t afford “scatter shooting”.

United we stand. But we need a unifying decision-making system. National elections are coming very soon so we need a national coordinated effort.

We can operate on multiple geographical levels; International, super-state, mini-state and county levels. But we also need to be coordinated across these borders too. We need the population-balanced districts to define the twelve national regions (instead of 50 states of varying populations).

You are correct, a good level for generating a coordinated team may be county level, but by 1/1/2016 we need to be ready for national. We need to get the schedules synchronized.

The 9th USA Parliament has been able to develop such a schedule which starts on January 1st, peaks on July 4th and ends on August 5th every year. We’re not scrambling around the last 90 days before the election to get united. By August 5th all the internal elections are done and the election of the five executives (three prime ministers and two secretaries) is able to take place to make decisions with accountability to the whole team on all geographical levels. But to strike out with new inferior structure will not be well-coordinated for the whole team.

We need to vote, think and act like one team made up of diverse team players.

The 9th The USA Parliament has been doing it for 19 consecutive years and it works fine:

  5. ROSEANNE STARTED ARAB SPRING!!
She spoke on Day One at OWS and OWS adopted the equation from her blog from my posts from the four months preceding that day.

    1/101 = .99
    .99% X 100 (plus 100 votes) = 99% (plus 100 votes)

…but they didn’t use it to elect leaders who are accountable to a perpetual “vote of confidence” and without that we’re stuck with DICTATORS.
